The starter pack: from nothing to ready

A short reading list, in order, for anyone who has never placed an order on Anubis, Nexus, or Osiris. Four pages and you are ready to go, with nothing skipped and nothing wasted.

Read these in sequence. Each builds on the one before. Skip ahead and you will end up looking something up that the earlier page already covered. The whole pack takes less time than untangling a single avoidable mistake, which is the case for reading it first.

1. Buyer walkthrough

Six steps, from a clean machine to a funded account on any of the three marketplaces. This is the one operational page to read end to end, because it sets up everything the later pages assume. Tor Browser, the security slider, bookmarking the directory, copying an onion link, the account, and the Monero deposit, in order.

2. Monero deposits

Funding the account. Wallet choice, sending, and the small mistakes worth avoiding. Worth a read before your first deposit so you skip the beginner tax, and so you understand why Monero rather than Bitcoin is the default on every marketplace here.

3. Escrow

What the protection actually is. Multisig escrow on Anubis and Nexus, walletless direct escrow on Osiris. This is the reason this index lists the three it does, and understanding it changes how you treat the gap between payment and release. Read it once and it stays with you.

4. Habits

What seasoned buyers do. None of it is secret; most is reflex. Copy never type, bookmark the directory, read the vendor reputation record, fund in Monero, leave funds in escrow until goods arrive. Adopt the lot on day one.

Then choose a market

With the four pages read, pick where to start. The Anubis review and the Nexus review lay out the trade between a gentle first experience and the deepest vendor reputation data, and the Osiris page covers the walletless alternative. The index explains why the list is only three.

Frequently asked

Can I skip straight to ordering?

You can, but the four pages exist because each prevents a specific common mistake. Reading them is the faster path overall.

What if I still have a question after the pack?

The questions page collects the answers buyers ask for most, and most leftover questions are there.

That is the pack. Bookmark the directory, work the four pages in order, and you are ready.
